Artist Statement
I explore multi-dimensional themes. I do not just see life; I experience it as a continuous, vibrating overlay of color and design. Every blink of my eyes captures a fresh, transparent layer of reality, weaving shapes and hues into an ever-changing visual map.
My process is one of alchemy, taking the external chaos of urban stimuli—the intersection of architecture, neon, and motion—and translating it into an internal vision. My work aims to freeze these transient, swirling moments, capturing the energetic pulse of the urban environment, before it shifts again.
I also explore the subjective experience of space and tangible objects, focusing on the threshold between what is seen and what is remembered.
I am fascinated by the 'visual overlay'—the way light, and color interact to form layered, semi-transparent images in our consciousness.
By accumulating these shapes and colors in my mind, I create work that translates external reality into visceral internal visions. Through layers of acrylic and water color paint/digital layers/mixed media], I reconstruct environments and objects as an energetic, swirling, and deeply personal space, inviting viewers to experience my art through a lens of fragmented beauty.
